About the position

The primary purpose of this role is to lead a highly effective sales team while having direct customer involvement and influence. The position involves partnering with regional and local store operations leaders to ensure the effective implementation of Lowe's pro strategy, which is crucial for driving a significant portion of Lowe's overall revenue within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Drives consistent year-over-year sales growth by leading a team of Pro Sales Managers through coaching and developing functional selling skills.
  • Works directly with District Managers to execute the Pro Sales strategy and maintain operational standards throughout the region.
  • Implements the Company Sponsored pro strategy at the regional level and ensures adherence to strategy standards.
  • Delivers sales results in line with company and pro-specific goals by utilizing all relevant Lowe's Pro Channels.
  • Responsible for achieving pro dollar penetration, roughly 30% of total regional sales, for each region.
  • Analyzes business trends and productivity performance to make impactful changes.
  • Conducts structured sales training for new and existing sales team members.
  • Develops partnerships across multiple departments and with external vendors to meet customer needs and drive growth.
  • Serves as the spokesperson for the Pro Sales function during internal and external meetings.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of business-to-business sales and conducts research on pro trends and key customers.
  • Communicates with Divisional Pro Director on performance and industry trends.
  • Supports Regional Vice President to ensure high customer service levels for Pro customers.
  • Identifies gaps in execution and sales opportunities through various feedback channels.
  • Conducts regular store visits to identify opportunities for customer service and sales growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 10 years' experience in retail.
  • 5 years of experience in business-to-business sales.
  • 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Experience incorporating e-commerce into sales strategy.
  • Experience identifying and building plans in response to emerging consumer trends.
