About the position

The position is responsible for executing Global Supply Management (GSM) procurement strategies to manage the sourcing of quality products, equipment, and services in alignment with business objectives. The role involves defining, deploying, and maintaining best-in-class procurement processes to support supply assurance, minimize inventories, optimize total cost of ownership, and enhance source-to-pay efficiency. The individual will leverage global GSM resources to deliver business value and lead a procurement operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops procurement operations team resources and is responsible for the professional growth roadmap of the team.
  • Delivers GSM global objectives in alignment with the business objectives and strategies.
  • Supports the overall organizational strategy, identifying key resource needs for areas of responsibility.
  • Facilitates process delivery and change management needs between division and corporate GSM function.
  • Champions, advocates, and ensures compliance with the Global Buying Policy (GBP) utilizing standard Global Supply Management (GSM) source-to-pay (S2P) processes and tools; including ensuring compliance with internal and external auditing requirements.
  • Develops annual cost reduction plans and long-term strategies and integrates with the GSM Savings Tracker cost reduction process and business cost reduction portfolio process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Operations roles with a demonstrated track record of results.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Source-to-Pay processes and enterprise procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.).
  • 3+ years experience managing a team of direct reports in exempt positions.
  • Ability to establish direction, work across multiple work streams, create strategy, and execute.
  • Demonstrated decision making, influencing, negotiation, and conflict management/problem solving skills and ability to drive results through others.
  • Contracting experience (negotiation, writing, and management).
  • Global Business knowledge and cross-cultural agility.
  • Commodity/Supply Chain expertise.
  • Multi-site management experience.

  • Should-Cost analysis.
  • Experience across multiple businesses, division and/or technologies.
  • Experience with global manufacturing and business through work or project experience.
  • Institute for Supply Management (ISM) or APICs certifications CPSM, C.P.M., A.P.P., CPIM, CSCP, etc.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification or equivalent experience.
