About the position

The Regional Producer (Account Executive) position at Zurich North America involves driving sales and managing relationships within the Seattle territory, focusing on providing Property and Casualty insurance to large automotive dealers. This role requires a proactive sales leader who can identify new business opportunities, maintain strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets while working in a flexible, remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing new business prospects for Property and Casualty insurance and F&I products.
  • Attending automotive industry events to promote Zurich's sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain solid relationships.
  • Managing and growing the assigned territory to achieve profitability and exceed sales targets.
  • Conducting sales presentations in-person or via Microsoft Teams.
  • Collaborating with field team members to ensure seamless implementation of programs and products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of sales experience or completion of a Zurich-approved Apprenticeship program with an Associate Degree (no prior sales experience required).
  • Ability to obtain insurance sales licenses where required.
  • 4+ years of business-to-business outside sales experience (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of direct sales principles, closing techniques, and industry-specific terminology (preferred).
  • Familiarity with insurance industry regulations (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (preferred).
  • Current insurance sales licenses (where required) or the ability to be licensed (preferred).
  • Experience with financial statement analysis (preferred).
