About the position

The Regional Product Line Manager for Flotation and Reflux Classifiers will provide technical leadership and support for FLSmidth across North America. This role is crucial for driving the growth and success of flotation and reflux classification products throughout their life cycle. The manager will be responsible for managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business targets are met, serving as the product expert, and providing training and guidance to sales teams, site service, and customers. Additionally, the role involves consulting on process flow sheets and equipment design, troubleshooting product technology, and ensuring proper aftermarket support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support for flotation and reflux classification products across North America.
• Manage KPIs to ensure business targets are met.
• Serve as the product expert and provide training for sales, site service, and customers.
• Discuss opportunities for equipment retrofit and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot or enhance product technology for existing processes.
• Improve order intake and ensure proper aftermarket support.
• Travel with sales/service to customer offices, sites, and engineering firms to consult on process flow sheets and equipment design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related Engineering field.
• 5 years' progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 5 years' experience interpreting engineering contracts, specifications, and drawings.
• 5 years' experience planning, budgeting, and forecasting engineering projects.
• 5 years' experience analyzing design and evaluating alternative solutions for client-specific issues.
• 5 years' experience selecting and justifying recommended solutions using mineral processing principles.
