About the position

The Regional Product Support Manager is responsible for providing advanced technical support, mobile repairs, and customer training for ABC-supported products across the Southeast region, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. This role requires a skilled technician who can perform hands-on repairs and maintenance while delivering comprehensive technical training to customers and internal teams. The position involves significant travel throughout the region and requires strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and mobile repair services for ABC-supported products, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and service campaigns at customer locations.
  • Travel throughout the Southeast region to service and support ABC products, with potential for occasional travel outside the assigned area.
  • Serve as a technical advisor, resolving product issues and warranty claims for customers.
  • Lead technical training sessions for customers and internal teams, ensuring they are well-versed in the operation and maintenance of ABC-supported products.
  • Coordinate and deliver hands-on, in-depth training on various systems including Van Hool, Eberspächer, and other ABC offerings.
  • Investigate and respond to customer feedback, analyzing and troubleshooting product concerns, and providing timely recommendations and reports to management.
  • Stay current with annual training requirements and updates for all ABC product offerings, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Complete customer visits according to the prescribed schedule to provide information, technical support and assistance for new and existing ABC sold Products.

Requirements

  • Formal training or extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing coach systems, including HVAC and high-voltage AC/DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams, use commissioning software, and understand Electric Vehicle (EV) architecture.
  • Mechanical experience with commercial vehicles and high-voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit, Allison, Eberspächer, Carrier, and high-voltage systems.
  • Experience in delivering technical training, with strong communication and instructional skills.
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects.
  • CDL Class B with passenger endorsement preferred.
  • Good organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames.

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree in Transportation, Industrial, Electrical, or Engineering preferred.
  • Field service and technical training experience highly desirable.
