About the position

The Regional Product Support Specialist at AVE - PLP is a key role focused on providing exceptional support for precision agriculture technology. This position involves troubleshooting and resolving technology issues for customers and internal teams, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The specialist will also create educational resources and maintain product knowledge to enhance customer readiness and support.

Responsibilities

• Setup and troubleshoot technology for various agricultural equipment including combines, sprayers, and tractors.
• Maintain up-to-date information on customer equipment related to company support packages.
• Proactively identify customer support needs and create solutions such as educational videos and instruction manuals.
• Maintain current product knowledge on all new/used equipment and their compatibility with technology integration.
• Support internal and external training on technology products and services.
• Act as a technical specialist for John Deere precision farming products.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills and cooperate with other departments.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive attitude towards customers.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in an agricultural-related role such as sales, service, or training.
• Prior experience with John Deere technology and support is preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in an agricultural-related major or equivalent experience.
• Solid communication skills to effectively resolve customer issues.
• Highly organized and sensitive to deadlines.
• Driven to achieve results with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience and knowledge of large ag equipment or commercial/turf equipment.
