About The Position

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or a related field, with a focus on administrative tasks in real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
  • Familiarity with OneSite or similar property management software is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with tenants, staff, and vendors.
  • A background in law or facilities management is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet company standards.
  • Develop and implement property management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and operational expenses for each property.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including LIHTC requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
  • Address tenant concerns promptly and effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with facilities management teams to maintain property conditions and address maintenance requests efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support related to real estate operations, including documentation and reporting.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to track interactions with tenants and improve service delivery.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor property staff to promote a positive work environment.
