About the position

The Regional Purchasing Manager at Adecco is responsible for leading the purchasing team to enhance cost savings and operational efficiencies. This role involves overseeing the entire procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize purchasing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline the procure-to-pay process, develop standard work procedures, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Execute sourcing strategies at the facility level to maximize cost savings and ensure supplier performance.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, ensure compliance with contract terms, and identify opportunities for contract optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze cost data, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing purchasing team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing, or manufacturing project management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, contract law, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant procurement software.
