The Regional Purchasing Manager, Americas is the leader of the procurement team and manages $250M in annual spend. The Regional Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the procurement activities in the Americas related to raw materials, packaging supplies, freight, utilities, products and other services. The role is expected to lead the development and execution of regional category sourcing strategies that will have significant value to Armacell. This role is also a member of the Global Procurement Leadership team (GPLT) that defines the mission, roadmap and priorities for Procurement at Armacell. The role reports to the Regional GM of Operations Americas with a functional reporting line to the Director Global Procurement. The Regional Purchasing Manager will lead and execute Regional (Americas) category sourcing strategies for key goods and services in line with business objectives and procurement priorities. This includes ensuring all purchasing activities in the region are conducted according to the Armacell procurement policy to ensure maximum value of every dollar spent by Armacell. The manager will lead supplier relationship management (SRM) initiatives with strategic suppliers as defined jointly with the business and actively participate in the GPLT to develop the procurement 3-year mission, category prioritization, SRM prioritization, risk management, and supplier audit plan, capability building for procurement tools and trainings, and procurement talent development. Additionally, the role supports the regional implementation of the Global Master Vendor Management and Procure to Pay WAM processes, ensuring the implementation of SAP upgrades and other procurement tools to enhance the analytical capabilities of the procurement team and improve spend control in the region. The manager will also manage the vendor qualification and audit process, track and authorize raw material exchanges, and identify and implement various cost savings projects in alignment with the business seeking standardization and leveraging across the region. The position requires managing the approval process for purchasing documents, preparing commodity and market reports, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of kanban and consignment inventory programs. The manager will also manage working capital relating to procurement and deliver timely business intelligence related to procurement topics, developing and submitting monthly and weekly procurement reports to the operations team and project controls, and tracking and reporting key KPIs to measure procurement's performance.
