About the position

The Regional Purchasing Manager will lead the purchasing team for our client, focusing on optimizing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Streamline the procure-to-pay process and develop standard work procedures to improve overall efficiency.
• Execute sourcing strategies at the facility level to maximize cost savings and ensure supplier performance.
• Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contract terms while identifying opportunities for contract optimization.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze cost data, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing purchasing team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing, or manufacturing project management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, contract law, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant procurement software.
