About the position

The Regional Quality Manager at Meta will oversee the implementation and management of the Meta Quality Program within the Data Center Engineering & Construction team. This role focuses on establishing a Quality Culture that emphasizes accountability, effective feedback, and contractor performance, ensuring the readiness and timely delivery of global campuses. The manager will lead quality initiatives, mentor teams, and coordinate with various stakeholders to uphold quality standards throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor quality program metrics to evaluate project performance and analyze trends to identify root causes of issues.
  • Mentor and develop on-site partner construction Quality & Commissioning teams, providing performance signals to contractor leadership.
  • Establish effective processes and standards in collaboration with Site Construction Management and Area Management teams for efficient execution and communication.
  • Lead site quality teams and interface with design, construction, and facility operations leadership and general contractors.
  • Provide direction and feedback to general contractor staff and trade partners regarding the Quality program.
  • Train personnel on quality procedures and responsibilities within the Quality process.
  • Coordinate quality issues and schedule dynamics among Meta's design, sourcing, construction, and facility operations teams.
  • Audit quality activities of staff and trade partners to assess conformance with Quality procedures.
  • Perform quality engineering audits of design documentation for compliance with requirements, including vendor quality manuals.
  • Evaluate effectiveness against Quality Program Standards and modify related quality and commissioning products and processes as necessary.
  • Recommend and verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances and quality issues.
  • Participate in reviews of commissioning scripts and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager on reviewing Turnover Documentation Packages for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist in reviewing energization, start-up, and commissioning schedules to ensure compliance.
  • Drive closure of open issues and escalate outstanding items not resolved timely.
  • Audit factory witness tests for equipment and systems as required.
  • Confirm proper completion and retention of testing documentation in alignment with micro-schedule milestones.
  • Assist in reviewing installed labeling, signage, and tagging.
  • Attend required construction meetings, including weekly project and monthly global Quality meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in quality control & quality assurance (QA/QC) and/or Commissioning (Cx) programs for data centers or mission critical construction projects.
  • BS in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build construction programs.
  • Experience in civil/structural, building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
  • Experience leading QA/QC and Cx programs.
  • Experience in contractor, consultant, and vendor management.
  • Experience in mission critical power and cooling infrastructure or other critical systems.
  • Experience adapting to a fast-paced, hands-on, start-up work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in personnel management, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Experience utilizing Autodesk BIM360 Field and/or ACC Build software.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications.
