About the position

The Regional Retail Store Manager is responsible for providing leadership across multiple Google store locations, focusing on sales performance, operational efficiency, and team development. This role involves analyzing sales data, collaborating with store managers to set goals, and implementing strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention. The Regional Manager will also work closely with executive leadership to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with staffing and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes sales data, trend reporting and forecasting
  • Ensures delivery of KPIs and SLAs at each location
  • Oversees staffing compliance in all locations
  • Collaborates with Account team and Google Retail team on ideation and execution of initiatives and strategies
  • Supports profitability measures and drivers (overtime, hours, and expenses)
  • Schedules and directs regular manager meetings to share information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale
  • Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies
  • Hires, trains, and performance manages store managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years' experience managing multiple retail locations across multiple states
  • Retail operations savvy with 10+ years' experience in retail store operations; tech retail ideal but not required
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of human resource disciplines including employee relations, performance management, and federal/state respective employment laws is required
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience a must
  • Experience developing, tracking, and monitoring cross-functional processes
  • Project management experience ideal - multi-faceted complex modeling and process management
  • Previous experience with leading, managing, guiding, and developing direct manager level reports
  • Excellent relationship building skills; proven success in senior level relationship, building, development, and management
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and prioritization of tasks
  • Professional demeanor with store managers and specialists, co-workers, and clients; the ability to handle conflict with calm demeanor and solution driven focus
  • Ability to lead a team in a manner that will build team morale and accomplish objectives
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to schedule tasks and people to meet program goals
  • Ability to proactively determine client-based and internal needs and present solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as impeccable follow-up and organization and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis
