About the position

The Regional Sales Associate (RSA) plays a vital role in driving business growth through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service. This position focuses on identifying and developing new business partnerships while nurturing existing relationships with key customers. The RSA engages with clients to understand their needs and provides tailored solutions, emphasizing business development and relationship building for success.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new contacts within a geographic territory.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services.
  • Provide product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms.
  • Assist Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and/or Director of Sales in processing priority transactions.
  • Help set appointments for the RSM team.
  • Communicate market trends to the officer team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and promote a 'team' approach throughout the entire company.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Conduct cold calling to generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong skills in business development and inside sales techniques.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals successfully.
  • Previous experience working in a CRM or database to enter and maintain sales activities and client communication.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and customer preferences.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Spanish to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
  • Experience in technical sales is advantageous but not required.
