Regional Sales Director (Affiliate Marketing)

About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Director to join our US Sales Team. As an individual contributor, you will be highly skilled at engaging new prospects and understanding their needs. You will be instrumental at articulating our value proposition to key decision-makers and securing new client wins. Your approach will prioritize integrity and customer-centricity, focusing on the mid-market and enterprise customer segments.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver results on established sales goals while developing and growing a revenue stream for products and services within your assigned region.
• Conduct comprehensive customer discovery calls including thorough needs analysis to identify customers’ pain points while articulating Partnerize’s value proposition.
• Effectively collaborate with internal partners across the organization to successfully close business by developing customer centric solutions based on the specific needs of the customer.
• Develop, manage and report a growing Sales pipeline; utilizing CRM to accurately forecast sales opportunities on an ongoing basis.
• Build and deliver to sales management thoughtful quarterly business plans including results, trends, key accounts, and strategy for sustained future success.
• Deliver and craft first class presentations tailored to prospects’ needs while effectively differentiating our offering against the competition.
• Maintain a growing knowledge of the affiliate and performance marketing space with an ability to clearly articulate key players, attributes of the channel, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Must have affiliate marketing experience, preferably in sales, but affiliate client services, OPM, or publisher backgrounds are also good!
• Demonstrated track record in developing relationships with decision makers and in closing medium to large technology and/or service deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently to any level of prospect.
• A passion for learning, an ability to navigate through ambiguity, and a hunger for career growth.
• High EQ, sales IQ, and business acumen.
• A strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, including (but not limited to) Paid Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate.
• Proven ability to manage a complex sales process from initial customer contact through product delivery and post-sales support.
• An ability to be highly effective working remotely.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role selling to retail marketing, e-commerce, financial and/or travel industry executives.
• Previous experience in retail MarTech and/or startup environment a plus.
• Previous experience in retail AdTech and/or a startup environment a plus.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
