About the position

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team, dedicated to enhancing global security by protecting organizations from advanced cyber threats. In this role, you will be responsible for positioning our cutting-edge cybersecurity and threat intelligence solutions to senior executives within your assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, with the ability to articulate CrowdStrike's go-to-market strategies effectively. You will have the opportunity to showcase our product capabilities, aligning them with the needs of various agencies and departments, and assist our partners and clients in combating adversaries. As a Regional Sales Director, you will lead a team of senior sales professionals, managing day-to-day operations, pipeline development, territory and account planning, forecasting, and ensuring quota attainment. You will leverage your extensive network of Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to drive CrowdStrike's sales strategy and achieve our goals. Your responsibilities will include identifying and executing account strategies to close new business opportunities and expand revenue within your region. You will also scope, negotiate, and finalize agreements to exceed booking and revenue targets. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with peers across various functions, including Field Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services, Customer Support, and Product Development, to enhance visibility with target accounts and engage prospects at all levels. Additionally, you will utilize SalesforceCLARITY and other data analytics tools to capture and maintain accurate prospect information. Familiarity with the MEDDPICC sales methodology is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of senior sales professionals, managing day-to-day personnel management and pipeline development.
  • Conduct territory and account planning, forecasting, and ensure quota attainment.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to close new business opportunities and expand revenue.
  • Scope, negotiate, and finalize agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.
  • Target and gain access to decision makers in key prospect accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with peers across functions to create visibility with target accounts and drive engagement.
  • Leverage partner ecosystem relationships to enhance sales efforts.
  • Capture and maintain accurate prospect information using SalesforceCLARITY and other analytics tools.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful solution sales experience leading a sales team selling cybersecurity software and/or infrastructure products.
  • Experience leading a team and fostering a culture of excellence and career development.
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud, and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
  • Proven sales leadership experience with executive-level contacts across the assigned territory.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MEDDPICC sales methodology.
