About the position

The Hunter Role in Healthcare IT at Spok involves reaching out to business targets to introduce and sell the complete portfolio of Spok products within an assigned territory. This position focuses on opportunity-based sales, representing and demonstrating software applications, and selling wireless communications products and services to various stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accuracy of the sales pipeline, contacts, and activities in Salesforce and other reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with key buying influences at executive and senior management levels.
  • Demonstrate the entire company solution, services, and hardware portfolio.
  • Attend company tradeshows and conferences regionally and nationally.
  • Respond to and lead RFP/RFI's and price systems and configurations.
  • Educate and coach business partners, assisting in prospecting, qualification, proposals, presentations, and closing opportunities.
  • Exceed Annual Booking Targets.
  • Increase revenue and market share within assigned territory.
  • Conduct direct sales activities including prospecting, deal qualification, deal velocity, contract negotiations, and closing business with new logos.
  • Establish relationships with consultants to influence opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal resources for successful collaboration to meet customer needs.
  • Develop selling relationships with Channel Partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience selling enterprise software solutions into the Healthcare IT space.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and Sales Process (Altify) preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
