The Regional Sales Director for the Northeast Region is a pivotal role responsible for driving sales performance and achieving team sales goals. This position involves recruiting and developing a high-performing sales team, setting clear expectations, and holding team members accountable for their performance. The Regional Sales Director will direct sales efforts towards specific customer groups, focusing on both existing customers and new conquest accounts to grow regional sales. In addition to sales management, the Regional Sales Director will actively participate in regional customer events, oversee the management of the regional chassis pool, and forecast and manage the regional sales and expense budgets. This role requires a strategic approach to preparing and managing the business plan to meet or exceed sales targets in both dollars and units for the region. The director will manage various customer segments, including Distributors, Regional Lease, Ryder, Penske, and Fleet Accounts, while also overseeing Regional Sales Managers and managing regional discount levels and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). The position demands strong personal skills, including a professional appearance, effective time management, and in-depth knowledge of Morgan and competitive products, as well as various chassis products. The Regional Sales Director will also be responsible for other duties as assigned, ensuring that all aspects of the sales process are executed effectively and efficiently.
