The Sales Engineer role is pivotal in this transformation, particularly in how CrowdStrike's Falcon stores and searches data, and in enhancing the Next Gen SIEM experience. Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of LogScale and NG-SIEM for prospective customers.
  • Take ownership of the technical relationship throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain relationships with customers as they explore LogScale and NG-SIEM capabilities.
  • Provide technical value in interactions with prospective customers, answering questions and demonstrating capabilities.
  • Lay out a technical vision of LogScale and NG-SIEM.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on LogScale, assisting with internal enablement on related platforms.
  • Work closely with sales, leadership, marketing, support, customer success, and engineering teams.
  • Provide feedback on deal progress and uncover the wants and needs of prospects.
  • Translate customer needs into tangible value from LogScale and NG-SIEM platforms.
  • Define and execute on the go-to-market strategy, exploring new use cases and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Experience with log management, SIEM, and XDR, including data ingest, parsing, manipulation, and visualization.
  • Comfortable with Linux and Windows troubleshooting, data ingestion formats, programming languages, cloud concepts, and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with distributed data stores, data shipping services, cloud providers, SSO concepts, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with common sales processes such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Selling, or Value Selling in a presales or architect role.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-moving, nimble environment.
  • Strong consultative sales approach, capable of challenging businesses to think differently.
  • Experience in evangelizing technology and acquiring new accounts.
