About the position

Seco Tools is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the Southeastern United States, focusing on metal cutting solutions across various industries. The ideal candidate will work independently from a home office, managing a team of 5-6 sales professionals while traveling 50-70% of the time within the assigned region. This mid-level position requires strong sales leadership experience and the ability to develop strategic plans for territory growth.

Responsibilities

  • Select, lead, and run the sales team to assure sales growth through distribution channel and end user account development.
  • Mentor, train, and support the sales team through education, joint sales calls, solution development, and problem resolution.
  • Develop, support, and maintain business relationships with distribution and end user customers to optimize and grow sales.
  • Develop, track, and report regional and territory sales plans, goals, and budgets.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of validated sales leadership experience in industrial B2B sales, particularly in metalworking or manufacturing.
  • Experience working independently from a home office in a regional territory management role.
  • Strong technical proficiency and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the Energy and Aerospace industries.
  • Experience in large account business development.
  • Industry-related experience in manufacturing, metalworking, tooling, and/or production environments.
