About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for Electronic Security at Per Mar Security Services is responsible for driving sales growth within the Upper Midwest region. This newly created role involves collaborating closely with the Director of Sales and other sales leaders to meet and exceed sales and profit goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset, with a proven track record in sales management. Responsibilities

  • Leading sales teams by overseeing a team of sales leaders to ensure productivity and effectiveness.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
  • Managing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting.
  • Working with the Director of Sales to set quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Maintaining budgeted sales staffing levels and developing bench strength to fill open positions as they arise.
  • Analyzing business and sales trends to suggest approaches to meet sales targets.
  • Implementing strategies to improve performance.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with important clients.
  • Collaborating with other departments such as operations and support staff to ensure quality sold jobs meet profitability expectations.
  • Providing training to sales staff to increase their individual sales capabilities.
  • Educating sales teams on new or upcoming products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of successful field sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales management experience.
  • Proven track record as a sales leader achieving sales quotas and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales management tools and software.
  • Ability to travel within the territory.
