About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for Energy Systems is responsible for developing and maintaining sales within an assigned territory in New England. This role focuses on executing a territory management plan to achieve sales objectives through both reactive and proactive strategies. The position serves as the primary contact for customers, fostering relationships, implementing growth strategies, and capturing market share. The role is integral to the company's mission of providing excellent products and outstanding service, contributing to the overall success and growth of Energy Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory management plan to achieve sales objectives.
  • Act as the primary customer contact and territory owner.
  • Build and manage customer relationships to capture market share.
  • Engage with marketing resources to introduce new products and programs.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve profitability and customer experience.
  • Maintain and grow knowledge of product offerings and value proposition.
  • Communicate routinely with the Sales Leader regarding key sales activities.
  • Manage key sales activity and opportunity information in CRM/ERP systems.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and analyze competitive landscape.
  • Develop new customer accounts and strengthen existing account relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of successful sales territory development experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret metrics and convert them to actionable objectives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales discipline and best practices.
  • Adept at adjusting to changing environments and market conditions.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 7+ years of successful solution sales and/or contractor sales experience.
