About the position

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive sales engagements within the Federal - Air Force sector.
  • Craft and implement strategic territory plans targeting deployments of Palo Alto Networks' Next Generation Security Platform.
  • Initiate and maintain long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans focused on enterprise-wide deployments.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks' solutions.
  • Engage in a programmatic approach to demand generation and territory expansion.
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends affecting Palo Alto Networks' products and services.
  • Travel as necessary within the territory and to company-wide meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • Proven track record of leading all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new accounts.
  • Deep knowledge of the U.S. Department of Defense and/or intelligence community.
  • Successful history of selling complex solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Highly competitive and adaptive, with a focus on exceeding production goals.
  • Active security clearance preferred, but not mandatory.

  • Experience with SASE technology is preferred.
