About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at HireVue is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing relationships with enterprise and strategic-level clients across the United States. This role involves closing complex deals, collaborating with senior leaders in talent acquisition and human resources, and representing HireVue at industry events. The position requires a self-directed individual with a strong entrepreneurial mindset who can effectively market the HireVue brand in a competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and close complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders including line of business executives and HR leaders.
  • Work with senior Talent Acquisition and HR leaders to close large enterprise deals.
  • Partner with the Business Development Team on pipeline building and progression.
  • Generate and develop new clients through cold calling, lead follow-up, networking, and trade shows.
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new revenue opportunities.
  • Market and differentiate the HireVue brand to achieve sales goals.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing.
  • Work self-directed over a given sales territory with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Assist in creating RFP responses for potential clients.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity and client base.
  • Understand client needs and requirements effectively.
  • Represent HireVue at industry events and tradeshows.
  • Communicate effectively with other teams to contribute to sales success.

Requirements

  • At least eight years of sales experience in the HCM & SaaS or assessment industry, preferably in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment.
  • Experience generating opportunities in large enterprise companies across North America.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Proven ability to work self-directed and be proactive.
  • Ability to innovate and influence staff and management at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen working with senior leadership or executives.
  • Extensive sales methodology training preferred (e.g., MEDDPIC, Sandler, Solution Selling, Challenger).
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of software applications/systems.
  • Analytical ability to understand metrics and report insights to clients.
  • Superior negotiating skills.
  • Detail-oriented.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Industry.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC, Sandler, Solution Selling, or Challenger.
