As a Regional Sales Manager for Generators & Light Towers at Atlas Copco Power Technique North America LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding market share for portable power and light products across a diverse territory that includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who is passionate about sales and has a strong understanding of the power equipment industry. You will work remotely, reporting directly to the Vice President of the North Region, and will be responsible for developing sales channels that include dealers, strategic accounts, and rental companies. Your primary objective will be to grow sales and market share for Atlas Copco's portable power and light equipment. This will involve effective sales and account management, ensuring that you cover the market comprehensively and meet the needs of customers. You will focus on strategic account penetration, developing key relationships that will enable growth in both visible and hidden markets. A long-term goal will be to position Atlas Copco as the single-source supplier for a complete range of equipment, services, and support offerings. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and implementing a sales strategy aimed at achieving revenue growth and market share targets. Building and maintaining positive relationships with established customers will be crucial, as will assessing customer applications to match them with the appropriate power and light products. You will also assist team members with customer training and collaborate with the Business Development team to analyze market conditions and competitive activity. Utilizing the CRM system effectively will be essential for preparing sales proposals and maintaining up-to-date information on pipeline development and customer interactions. This position requires a commitment to representing the core values and culture of Atlas Copco at all times, and it will involve extensive overnight travel, estimated at 60%, including weekends and holidays as needed.
