As a Regional Sales Manager for Generators and Light Towers at Atlas Copco Power Technique, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding market share for our portable power and light products across a diverse territory that includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who is passionate about sales and has a strong understanding of the power equipment industry. You will work remotely, reporting directly to the Vice President of the North Region, and will be responsible for developing sales channels that include dealers, strategic accounts, and rental companies. Your primary objective will be to grow sales and market share by effectively managing accounts and establishing strong relationships with customers. You will be tasked with achieving strategic account penetration and developing key relationships that will enable growth in both visible and hidden markets. This role requires a proactive approach to sales strategy development, where you will implement plans to achieve revenue growth and market share targets. You will also be responsible for assessing customer applications and matching them with the appropriate power and light products to ensure reliability and success. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will assist team members with customer training and product demonstrations, ensuring that all Atlas Copco Power Technique products are effectively represented. Regular market analysis and collaboration with the Business Development team will be essential to identify business development opportunities and respond to competitive activity. You will utilize the CRM system to manage sales proposals and maintain up-to-date information on pipeline development and customer interactions.
