About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for HVAC is a remote position focused on driving business development and expanding market share for a leading manufacturer of dehumidification products. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, as the manager will work autonomously to manage relationships with manufacturing rep firms and end users, including major hotels and fitness centers. The position involves significant travel within the assigned region to present product solutions and educate customers on the value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities in the assigned region to increase sales.
  • Travel throughout the assigned region to present product solutions.
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of HVAC products.
  • Develop sales strategies for specific markets.
  • Manage relationships with manufacturer representative firms and assist with training and product presentation meetings.
  • Conduct meetings directly with building owners, contractors, and engineers.
  • Manage a book of business of roughly $4.5-7.5 million in revenue annually.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Experience in business development within the HVAC industry.
  • Ability to manage a book of business of roughly $4.5-7.5 million in revenue annually.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with high-level corporations.
  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing manufacturing rep firms.
  • Knowledge of dehumidification products and HVAC systems.
