About the position
The Industrial Regional Sales Manager is a remote position focused on growing the Industrial business and enhancing Trojan's market position within a defined territory. The role involves implementing sales strategies to increase market share in the water treatment industry, ensuring sustainable growth by engaging channel partners and demonstrating expertise in water treatment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Increase sales and profits by meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin in the assigned territory.
- Manage existing and develop new customers, Channel Partners, and Consultants.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans by executing organizational best practices.
- Manage opportunity/sales funnel through Trojan Technologies' customer relationship management (CRM) solution.
- Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations/evaluations, customer seminars, and channel management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required.
- 5+ years of sales or channel management experience.
- Industry knowledge specific to water treatment and applications.
- High energy performer who operates as part of a team and inspires others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Problem-solving mentality with a can-do attitude.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with a UV manufacturer.
- Experience with a channel partner supplying UV and other water treatment equipment for industrial markets.
- Experience with a water treatment integrator in North America.
