About the position

The Regional Sales Manager North America (RSM) at Greene, Tweed is responsible for aligning regional sales goals with the overall business strategy. This role involves developing and executing regional sales strategies to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met. The RSM will lead and coach the local sales team, translating sales strategies into actionable plans while maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Select, develop and retain top sales talent in support of regional sales objectives.
  • Provide timely coaching and feedback to drive performance results and reinforce effective Territory Management and consultative selling techniques.
  • Work with the Senior Manager of Global Sales to develop and implement strategic plans and tactics to meet industry and territory sales objectives.
  • Ensure broad and shallow coverage of the customer base by implementing territory management models.
  • Manage and grow the regional account base to achieve revenue, profitability, and share gain targets.
  • Maintain high-level contacts within the industry to promote Greene, Tweed technology and capabilities.
  • Deliver accurate regional sales forecasts in support of strategic business planning processes.
  • Communicate deviations from the plan in a timely manner to the Senior Manager of Global Sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in sales negotiations as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one and regional team meetings to assess performance and deliver ongoing coaching.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or comparable experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years of proven consultative or solution-based commercial experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including people development/coaching, objective setting, and performance management skills.
  • Technical knowledge to understand the technical applications of products and represent them positively.
  • Ability to manage effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to translate market trends into sales forecasts.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Cultural knowledge and understanding of acceptable behavioral practices and cultural differences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a technical sales environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
