About the position

The Regional Sales Manager/National Account Manager is responsible for opening new accounts and securing meetings with prospective customers. This role involves presenting solutions, generating proposals, and closing sales within a large territory. The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, excelling in reaching high-level executives through various outreach methods. The primary goal is to set quality appointments and add opportunities to the sales pipeline, requiring a strong desire to achieve and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solid and trusting relationships between clients and the company
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline and manage at least 5 new meetings per week
  • Work with your manager to develop a territory plan
  • Align products with customer problem-solving needs
  • Present solutions and develop tailored proposals
  • Update the CRM regularly to track all current opportunities
  • Coordinate with an Account Manager during implementation

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a field selling role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Strong follow-through skills and ability to manage a longer sales cycle
