About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at Episciences Inc. is responsible for leading and managing a team of Account Executives (AEs) within a designated region to achieve profitable revenue growth. This role involves direct oversight of sales activities, coaching, and developing the sales team, as well as maintaining relationships with key accounts. The position requires extensive travel within the Northern Region and collaboration with the SVP of Marketing & Sales to implement sales strategies and achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage domestic Account Executives (AEs) to meet or exceed revenue growth goals.
  • Develop and implement annual sales and growth plans for AEs and key accounts.
  • Review performance with each AE monthly to encourage and coach them towards success.
  • Implement the company's sales process to establish a consultative selling culture.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with executive decision-makers in key accounts.
  • Acquire new qualified large-scale retailers for the company's products.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities for self and AE team.
  • Coach AEs to build effective relationships and respond to emerging opportunities.
  • Establish a planned program for sales coaching within the assigned region.
  • Travel extensively to meet accounts and coach AEs.

Requirements

  • Three years of sales management experience in a medium-sized sales organization (over $1,000,000/year volume).
  • Experience in the health or personal care industry is preferred.
  • Ability to manage sales activities and develop a sales force.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in consultative selling techniques.
  • Familiarity with the health and personal care product market.
