About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at Episciences Inc. is responsible for leading and managing a team of Account Executives (AEs) within a designated region to achieve profitable revenue growth. This role involves direct oversight of sales activities, coaching, and developing the sales team, as well as maintaining relationships with key accounts. The position requires extensive travel within the Northern Region and a focus on consultative selling to meet company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage domestic Account Executives (AEs) within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement annual sales and growth plans by AE and key account.
  • Review performance with each AE monthly to encourage and coach them towards success.
  • Implement the company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts.
  • Explore and acquire new qualified large scale/key retailers for the company's products.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities of self and AE team.
  • Coach AEs to build effective staff relationships and respond quickly to opportunities.
  • Establish a planned program for sales coaching within the assigned region.
  • Make coaching sales calls with AEs to provide feedback and assist with large opportunities.
  • Travel extensively to meet accounts and coach AEs.

Requirements

  • Three years of sales management experience in a medium-sized sales organization (preferably in health or personal care industry).
  • Ability to manage sales activities and develop a sales force.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the health or personal care industry.
  • Familiarity with consultative selling techniques.
