About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at Episciences Inc. is responsible for leading and managing a team of Account Executives (AEs) within a designated region to achieve profitable revenue growth. This role involves direct oversight of sales activities, coaching AEs, and ensuring adherence to company policies and objectives. The position requires extensive travel within the Northern Region, which includes states from the Dakotas to New England and down to Missouri and Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage domestic Account Executives (AEs) to meet or exceed company revenue growth goals.
  • Develop and implement annual sales and growth plans for AEs and key accounts in the assigned region.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with AEs to encourage and coach them towards success.
  • Implement the company's sales process to foster a consultative selling culture.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with executive decision-makers in key accounts.
  • Explore and acquire new large-scale retailers for the company's products.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities for self and the AE team.
  • Coach AEs to build effective relationships and respond to emerging opportunities.
  • Establish a sales coaching program in collaboration with the SVP of Marketing & Sales.
  • Travel extensively to meet accounts and coach AEs.

Requirements

  • Three years of sales management experience in a medium-sized sales organization (over $1,000,000/year volume), preferably in the health or personal care industry.
  • Ability to manage sales activities and develop a sales force within the assigned region.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly to visit accounts and AEs.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize sales activities.
