About the position

The Regional Sales Manager - Northeast at Bunge will be responsible for leading the company's efforts to grow its broadline distribution business in the northeastern United States. This role focuses on building and maintaining key relationships with broadline distributors and regional chain customers, while also managing Bunge's broker sales network to achieve strategic objectives and increase market share.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Bunge's efforts to profitably grow its broadline distribution business in the northeastern United States.
  • Build key relationships with broadline distributors and regional chain customers.
  • Develop new opportunities to grow Bunge's market share in the foodservice sector.
  • Support existing business while increasing margin and sales volume of distributor value-added and Bunge brands.
  • Train and manage the tactical activities of Bunge's broker network in the assigned region.
  • Execute distributor marketing and sales activities as defined by the Corporate Account Lead and Director of Sales - Foodservice.
  • Manage commercial activities including commodity contract adherence, forecasting, trade spend, and RFPs.
  • Act as the voice of customers within the broader Bunge organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 4-8 years of foodservice sales experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, senior management, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience operating in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience managing a foodservice broker and driving value-added sales focus.
  • Strong customer knowledge and relationships across the assigned region.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of products ranging from basic staple commodities to specialty value-added.
  • Strong proficiency in office productivity and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong teamwork.
