About the position

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will serve as a subject matter expert on Fleet Complete's software solutions, responsible for conducting sales demonstrations, training channel sales partners, and providing virtual training programs for clients. This role is crucial for enhancing client engagement and ensuring the effective use of the company's telematics solutions, ultimately contributing to the organization's long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct online sales demonstrations with prospective customers.
  • Provide sales channel partners with training to increase the knowledge level of sales representatives.
  • Demonstrate an ability to connect with customers both technically & non-technically regarding their specific requirements.
  • Present a strong comfort level in all customer-facing situations.
  • Become the point of contact for new and existing clients to book enhanced product and application training.
  • Assist with client support, as well as customer issue resolution when necessary.
  • Support local carriers on sales opportunities within a specified region.
  • Outline Fleet Complete to potential customers by effectively addressing and positioning the customer's requirements.
  • Develop productive business relationships with key personnel at the local carrier level within a specified region.
  • Resolve any issues with customers or the local carrier sales channel.
  • Hold regular meetings with local carrier sales staff.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B Sales.
  • Solid understanding of application development technologies using Client/Server, Web-enabled and distributed applications.
  • Proven ability to effectively identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to build, influence and motivate channel sales partners.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of computer-based Applications & IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of the transportation industry.
  • Must be located around the Seattle area.

Nice-to-haves

  • Wireless and GPS experience.
  • Experience working in channel sales and selling to a carrier.
  • Software sales/training experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the telematics industry.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and go-getter mindset.
  • College or University degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred.
