About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at Bray International is responsible for forecasting sales, managing sales representatives and distributors, and promoting the company's products, programs, and policies. This role involves significant fieldwork, strategic planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Independently schedule time in the field, averaging around 50% of time in locations such as Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kansas.
  • Establish annual sales forecasts for each representative and distributor.
  • Promote seminars and plant tours for key customers.
  • Discuss strategies to penetrate new and existing markets with representatives and distributor owners.
  • Monitor distributor's inventory during territory visits to ensure market supply.
  • Act as a clearing house for all sales leads and coordinate follow-ups with appropriate parties.
  • Make on-the-spot pricing decisions within factory guidelines when necessary.
  • Recommend representatives and distributors to deal directly with the factory for specific issues.
  • Follow up on significant outstanding quotes within the territory and coordinate actions with distributors and inside sales.
  • Hold training seminars with representatives and distributors to improve product knowledge and presentation skills.
  • Evaluate distributor performance and notify upper management of any concerns.

Requirements

  • 4 Year Degree
  • Minimum 5 years sales or sales management experience in related industry
  • Average computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Extensive utilization of D365, the company's CRM
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record
