About the position

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within a designated region, leading a sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth. This role involves developing sales strategies, conducting training, and ensuring that sales targets are met through effective coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage all sales activities in the assigned region.
  • Staff and direct a sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth.
  • Establish sales plans and strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one debriefs with Account Executives to enhance communication and identify training needs.
  • Perform 2-3 field rides per week with Account Executives to coach and improve sales skills.
  • Assist Account Executives in preparing proposals and presentations.
  • Conduct productive weekly sales meetings focused on skill development.
  • Ensure all Account Executives meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, and proposals.
  • Set a strong example in personal character, commitment, and work habits.
  • Develop a Regional Sales and Marketing Plan that aligns with the corporate plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • 3-5 years of sales leadership experience in a hunting capacity.
  • Proven history of developing sales colleagues.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in management, sales, and customer experience.
  • Experience analyzing financial reports in a complex environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen and have a valid driver's license.

  • Experience in the pest control industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
