About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for Roof Coatings is responsible for managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to customer service, specifically within the silicone roof coatings industry. This role involves working closely with contractors, building owners, and distributors to ensure a seamless experience and to promote the company's products effectively. The position requires extensive travel and may involve relocation to the designated sales region.

Responsibilities

• Manage the selling process from start to finish, including prospecting, providing samples, evaluating roof conditions, pricing materials, and submitting orders.
• Assist contractors in becoming Certified Licensed Applicators and provide necessary training.
• Work through application and warranty paperwork processes.
• Qualify leads and provide them to contractors.
• Bring on and train independent representatives as needed.
• Attend and exhibit at trade shows and business development events.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional materials and programs within the region.
• Assist with managing the distribution facility if necessary for the market.
• Participate in regular team meetings both in person and online.
• Work independently towards team and individual goals while maintaining focus on safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years minimum of experience selling silicone roof coatings or related building/construction products.
• Familiarity with end users, contractors, architects, and distribution channels.
• Strong entrepreneurial background and technical acumen.
• Comfortable working on roofs.
