About the position

The Regional Sales Manager - Security at Teledyne Technologies will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's security business in the Northeast region of the US. This position involves direct engagement with security partners, VARs, and end-users, focusing on hardware and software solutions such as thermal and visible cameras and Video Management Software. The RSM will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships, providing market intelligence, and collaborating with internal teams to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build, expand, and maintain a network of relationships with security partners, VARs, and end-users.
  • Coordinate the involvement of all Teledyne FLIR personnel and partners within accounts.
  • Leverage account presence to up-sell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Provide market intelligence and educate customers on sustainable relationships across business imperatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prospect for new opportunities and grow the Security base business.
  • Establish and maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts through CRM utilization.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Teledyne FLIR Security products, services, and solutions, including value propositions and pricing structures.
  • Conduct or coordinate product training and demonstrations as needed.

Requirements

  • Significant years of experience in Security sales.
  • Experience selling Video Management Software, visible cameras, thermal cameras, and radar is preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated.
  • Strong and persuasive communication skills.
  • Technically adept with the ability to make complicated presentations and briefings.
  • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to develop professional briefing material and confidently present to customers and in industry forums.
