About the position

As a Regional Sales Manager for Stryker's Trauma division in the East Florida Area, you will play a pivotal role in leading, managing, and developing the Stryker Trauma Sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue and develop the top sales team in the Orthopedic marketplace. This position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a relentless intensity that fuels their daily activities. You will be tasked with analyzing market information to identify new prospects, creating sales plans, and implementing marketing strategies to exceed territory market share objectives. Additionally, you will prepare, monitor, and manage budgets and expenditures, providing recommendations on pricing schedules and discount rates. Building and maintaining relationships is key to success in this role. You will establish ongoing partnerships with local hospital staff and surgeons, as well as foster internal relationships with your sales associates. Your collaborative nature will be essential, as you will often need to roll up your sleeves to provide last-minute support in operating or emergency room consultations, or to assist with customer or account issues. Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Stryker Trauma Sales team.
  • Drive revenue and develop the top sales team in the Orthopedic marketplace.
  • Analyze market information to identify new prospects and create sales plans and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets and expenditures.
  • Provide recommendations on pricing schedules and discount rates.
  • Build ongoing partnerships with local hospital staff and surgeons.

  • Provide last-minute support in operating/emergency room consultations as needed.
  • Assist with customer or account problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience (in the medical device or industry preferred).
  • 2+ years of sales management experience and/or demonstrated ability to work with and lead others to accomplish sales goals.
  • Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).
