About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for the Western Region at Yamato Corporation is responsible for the sales and promotion of innovative weighing equipment across the designated territory. This role involves managing customer relationships, assessing market conditions, and implementing strategic initiatives to meet sales goals. The position requires significant travel and collaboration with various departments to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage orders for innovative retail and semi-automatic scales.
  • Direct sales activities to dealers, distributors, and key end users.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with strategic end users.
  • Assess, create, and implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide field intelligence on competitive activity and market changes.
  • Update and maintain CRM with accurate customer information and sales activity.
  • Participate in sales meetings and trade shows as directed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in packaging or related training.
  • Demonstrated background in technical sales.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Epicor software.
  • Multi-state territory experience.
