About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at United Solar is responsible for leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives to drive sales growth and expand the company's market presence in the region. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing team performance, and building relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Outside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and monitor sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape, making recommendations for improvements and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to drive revenue growth and customer success.

Requirements

  • 2+ years sales manager or similar role in the solar energy industry.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, with a focus on driving results.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
