About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at The Brock Group is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve quotas. This role is crucial for increasing income and revenue by managing client relationships, generating leads, and overseeing the sales of products and services. The position requires a proactive approach to sales strategy development and execution, as well as a strong focus on customer education and market analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast sales and develop innovative sales strategies and models.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through on sales leads.
  • Educate customers on how ScaffSource services can benefit them.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using compelling arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
  • Maintain and expand the client database within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of outside sales experience
  • Proven sales experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce or a similar system
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
