About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at TRC Companies, Inc. will lead sales activities within the Power Sector's Pacific Northwest region, focusing on consulting, engineering, and construction management services. This role is crucial for achieving growth objectives and ensuring long-term sustainability by managing existing client accounts and acquiring new clients. The position requires collaboration with various teams to drive sales efforts and support business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional sales of TRC's portfolio of services in the Power Sector.
  • Manage accounts of existing TRC clients and acquire new corporate clients.
  • Identify key decision makers and understand purchasing processes within client organizations.
  • Monitor timelines for potential RFPs and business contracts to position TRC for opportunities.
  • Utilize Sales Force CRM to drive opportunity pipeline growth and data quality.
  • Support business practices and collaborate with national business development and project management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business-related field.
  • 4+ years of account management, direct sales, and business development experience, preferably in the power utility market.
  • Strong understanding of the power utility market and regional trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and CRM software.
