About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at 3 Day Blinds is responsible for leading a team of Design Consultants to drive profitable revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction. This role involves managing sales targets, developing team skills, and fostering a high-performance culture within the district. The position requires a blend of leadership, business development, and recruitment to build a successful sales team while ensuring accountability and performance metrics are met.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the district to achieve budget and sales targets through close rate, order size, lead generation, and service recovery.
  • Instill accountability in individual Design Consultants' sales and marketing activities through daily interactions.
  • Develop and refine sales skills and techniques through effective facilitation of weekly meetings and calls.
  • Educate the sales team on products, service offerings, and promotions.
  • Increase the success rate of Design Consultants in generating appointments and improving their earnings.
  • Motivate Design Consultants to capture sales opportunities through networking and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify prospective client markets and develop creative selling strategies.
  • Work with the marketing department to develop repeat programs for high self-generated lead returns.
  • Build, develop, recruit, and retain a winning team of Design Consultants.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals and take corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of successful experience leading and developing a dynamic outside sales team.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in interchangeable work environments, both in the field and remotely.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
