About the position

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in the horticulture containers market by identifying potential customers and distributors, creating sales plans, and achieving sales objectives. This role requires a detail-oriented and driven individual who can analyze market trends and report on sales results effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential growers, customers, and distributors in the territory.
  • Make cold calls and send introduction emails to potential clients.
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
  • Report on regional sales results and performance metrics.
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives on assigned product lines.

Requirements

  • 1 year of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in greenhouse/nursery supply.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High energy, team player, and competitor.
  • High proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, and other CRM tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in horticulture or nursery supply industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
