About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at CommuniCare Health Services is responsible for developing sales strategies to promote census growth across facilities in the Akron/Cleveland/Columbus, OH region. This role involves hiring, directing, coaching, and developing teams, including Hospital and Clinical Liaisons, Admission Directors, and Director of Public Relations, to exceed budgeted census goals. The manager serves as a market expert, understanding trends and analytics, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to drive results and remove barriers to success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote census growth.
  • Hire, direct, coach, and develop sales teams including Hospital and Clinical Liaisons.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to exceed budgeted census goals.
  • Establish CommuniCare as the provider of choice in the market.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to support sales and revenue objectives.
  • Supervise and manage marketing and sales results, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and community partners.
  • Assist in managing the marketing operating budget and prepare marketing activity reports.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of healthcare related management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to understand hospital DRG and network/ACO development.
  • Sales experience.
  • Ability to build success through teamwork.
  • Team building and excellent leadership skills.
  • Multi-site management experience is required.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Tactful interaction with team members, staff, residents, and the public.
  • Leadership and supervisory ability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of census development strategies.
  • Familiarity with community outreach and relationship building.
