About the position

The Regional Sales Manager will oversee and lead the sales team in the region while also managing personal sales responsibilities. This role focuses on fostering customer relationships, generating sales leads, and ensuring compliance with local building codes. The manager will also be responsible for marketing products and services, developing sales strategies, and mentoring the sales team to achieve performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team across the region, providing training and coaching.
  • Drive sales efforts by developing and nurturing customer relationships and generating new leads.
  • Handle individual sales responsibilities, including closing deals and managing client accounts.
  • Inspect and approve building sites for compliance with local codes before scheduling work.
  • Represent Warrior Precast professionally at industry trade shows and events.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve budgeted sales goals.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews with the team to track progress and address any issues.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the sales team to address and resolve concerns or escalations.
  • Train and mentor new or underperforming sales staff to meet performance expectations.
  • Coordinate with necessary stakeholders to ensure projects are completed successfully.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a distributed sales team.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and SWA building site requirements.
  • Experience in sales management and the building products industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for reading and producing plans.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and good judgment.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Willingness to travel and work as required to achieve company goals.
