About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for Diamond Mowers is responsible for managing and expanding the dealer network in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. This role involves strategic and tactical contributions as a liaison between the factory and dealers, focusing on increasing sales and enhancing dealer engagement with Diamond's products. The ideal candidate will embody the company's core values and work collaboratively to achieve revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthening existing dealer network and recruiting new dealers by identifying underperforming dealers and territories and developing a plan to improve production.
  • Holding dealers accountable to established business plans and objectives.
  • Ensuring dealer personnel are properly trained in business strategy, sales, and technical advantages.
  • Identifying and recruiting new dealers within the assigned territory, based upon company objectives and strategy.
  • Managing the dealers' on-boarding process.
  • Positioning oneself as an expert in the industry providing both business and strategic sales advice.
  • Attending industry events and trade shows.
  • Actively contributing to regular sales and company-wide meetings.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of previous selling experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of previous work with industrial heavy equipment preferred.
  • Associate's degree in business or economics preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software preferred.
