About the position

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving new revenue and creating demand for ASSA ABLOY's VingCard and Elsafe brands within the hospitality segment. This role focuses on building and maintaining business relationships with regional properties and management companies, maximizing customer engagement, and supporting market share growth in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new revenue through sustained business relationships with regional properties and management companies.
  • Maximize hotel customer engagement by presenting the full suite of ASSA ABLOY products and focusing on upselling.
  • Partner with the Strategic Accounts team to support and grow market share in the assigned territory.
  • Prospect, propose, and close sales to new and existing hospitality customers.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the assigned territory, visiting properties regularly.
  • Provide accurate reports, sales projections, and documentation as requested.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Support Coordinator to ensure market saturation in assigned territories.
  • Maintain records in the CRM system documenting customer interactions.
  • Evaluate existing and potential customers to focus on those with the greatest volume growth opportunities.
  • Create quarterly and annual action plans based on identified opportunities and support sales training needs of existing customers.
  • Investigate customer complaints and make recommendations to management.
  • Maintain proficiency in all sales and technical aspects of products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales.
  • Successful track record of business development in a regional, multi-state territory.
  • Experience selling technology within the hospitality industry, particularly in the hotel and lodging sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building successful client relationships.
  • Understanding of hospitality technology and integrations, preferably related to PMS, mobile and Cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrable existing relationships and experience working with hotel ownership groups or developers.
  • Self-driven, energetic, and ambitious with strong business and technical aptitude.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to travel up to 90% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in technical or hospitality sales, preferably both.
  • Prior experience working with clients ranging from C-level to front-line managers.
