About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at KeHE Distributors is responsible for leading and supervising Area Supervisors within assigned territories. This role involves supporting the execution of business plans, analyzing sales territories, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The position emphasizes a people-first culture and aims to foster effective relationships with store management and vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Area Supervisors in assigned territories.
• Support Area Supervisors and Sr. Director in executing business plans.
• Analyze sales territories and recommend improvements.
• Define and communicate goals for the assigned sales area.
• Manage budgets for the assigned sales area.
• Direct the activities of Area Supervisors in the assigned sales area.
• Coach, counsel, train, and evaluate job performance of employees.
• Recommend and implement staffing changes as needed.
• Administer company Human Resource policies and procedures.
• Ensure all KPDs, sales targets, and contribution margins are met.
• Maintain effective working relationships with store management and vendor partners.
• Observe all safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in the grocery industry.
• Three years in a supervisory or management role within the industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
